USPS Hackathon Prototype
Role: Frontend Developer, Creative Technologist, Prototyping

During a two-day hackathon, I was part of a prototyping team made up of 4 creative technologists and a developer. Together, we made a prototype of a smart mailbox aimed at making mail routes more efficient.

For this project, we used Google Maps API and two Arduino Yuns. The Yuns would send signals to a node server once an event had been triggered. Depending on what the event was, the server would then shoot a signal to another client that would change locations on the route.

Since this project is confidential and being tested in certain markets, I’m happy to chat more in detail about it in person.
